The Executive Women Network (EWN) successfully hosted another impactful edition of its Sister to Sister: Candid Chats series on Thursday, 21st May 2026, with support from Telecel Ghana, which graciously hosted the event at its Head Office in Airport City.

Held under the theme When Emergency Calls, the event created an important platform for conversations around health awareness, emergency preparedness, and the importance of prioritising personal wellbeing, particularly among women balancing demanding professional and personal responsibilities.

The session featured a distinguished panel of healthcare professionals and experts:

– Dr. Irene Wulff – CEO, FOCOS Orthopaedic Hospital
– Dr. Norvishie Arkutu – Consultant Orthodontist, Platinum Orthodontics & Advanced Dentistry
– Dr. Gifty Quarshie-Ngissah – Medical Director, Midway Hospital
– Dr. Clement Laryea – Respiratory Physician Specialist, 37 Military Hospital

The event was moderated by Amanda Akushie, Lead Consultant at Nilee Consult, who skillfully guided the engaging and insightful discussions throughout the evening.

The conversations focused on the importance of health consciousness, early detection, emergency response, preventive healthcare, and the need for women to intentionally prioritise their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Participants also benefited from a free breast screening exercise provided by FOCOS Orthopaedic Hospital, reinforcing the event’s commitment not only to conversations around health, but also to practical action and awareness.

EWN expressed its sincere appreciation to Telecel Ghana for hosting the event and supporting initiatives that promote the wellbeing and empowerment of women.
