Executive Women Network Hosts Insightful Session on Wills and Estate Planning
The Executive Women Network (EWN) successfully hosted another impactful edition of its Network Collabo Series on 10th July 2025 via Zoom, bringing together approximately 45 participants for an engaging and highly educative conversation on “Wills and the Importance of Estate Planning.”
The session was facilitated by Nana Yaw Ntrakwah, Partner at Ntrakwah & Co., who shared practical insights on the importance of preparing wills, protecting family assets, and ensuring a smooth transfer of wealth and responsibilities. Participants gained a clearer understanding of why estate planning is not only for the wealthy, but an essential step for every responsible individual and family.
During the interactive discussion, participants explored:
• The purpose and benefits of having a valid will
• Common misconceptions surrounding estate planning
• The legal implications of dying intestate
• How proper planning can prevent family disputes and protect loved ones
• Practical steps individuals can take to begin their estate planning journey
The session also provided participants with the opportunity to ask questions and receive professional guidance on personal and family estate matters. The engagement and participation throughout the meeting reflected the growing interest among women professionals and entrepreneurs in securing their financial legacy and protecting future generations.
