As part of its commitment to empowering women and giving back to society, the Executive Women Network (EWN) actively participated in the celebration of International Women’s Day 2026 under the theme Give to Gain.

In line with the spirit of the theme, EWN focused on mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and professional guidance by leading impactful speed mentoring sessions aimed at inspiring and supporting the next generation of women leaders and professionals.

One of the key highlights of EWN’s International Women’s Day activities was its collaboration with Charterhouse during their IWD event, where EWN members engaged over 350 students in an interactive speed mentoring session. The initiative created a valuable platform for young women to connect with accomplished professionals, gain career insights, receive guidance, and learn from the experiences of women leaders across various industries.

EWN also partnered with the MTN Yellow Ladies Association during the celebration of their 1st Anniversary, where members of the network facilitated another impactful speed mentoring session for approximately 300 staff members.

The mentoring conversations focused on practical and relevant themes designed to support women in their personal and professional growth, including:

– Bridging the Confidence Gap: Overcoming imposter syndrome and building the self-assurance to take on new challenges
– Creating Visibility: Strategies to ensure contributions are recognised and voices are heard in high-level meetings
– Building an Effective Network & Managing Relationships: How to cultivate authentic professional relationships that open doors to opportunities

Through these initiatives, EWN reinforced the importance of women uplifting, supporting, and investing in one another.
